Jean-Pierre Evrard (born in 1936 Ã Saint-Omer) begins photography in 1954 after training in Fine Arts and graphic arts. His career at Kodak in the years 1970 nourishes his knowledge of Africa and overseas territories. From 1980, he developed an important work between Europe and several African countries, while making Morocco a land of choice. A close relationship links him to the Maison de la Photographie in Marrakech, which retains a significant donation of its prints.
The photograph Camelier in Merzouga which was taken between 1995 and 2008, illustrates his attentive look at the landscapes and figures of southern Morocco.

Marcelin Flandrin (1889–1957), photographer established in Casablanca since 1921, documented Morocco with particular attention to architecture, to developments in society and everyday scenes. Marcelin Flandrin (1889-1957), photographer established in Casablanca from 1921, created a monumental work dedicated to Morocco. Attentive to social transformations, to urban planning and scenes of daily life, he has built up an exceptional fund, preserved today by the Maison de la Photographie de Marrakech. This photograph shows draped women in Casablanca, reflection of his precise and sensitive look at Moroccan daily life and the beauty of lights and contrasts.

Rosine Mazin (1942-2023), photograph formée École Vaugirard, worked at Studio Souissi in Rabat between 1969 and 1971, traveling Morocco with a singular sensitivity. Attentive to culture, to architecture and scenes of daily life, it has constituted over the years 1970 a set of images that bear witness to a country in full vitality. In 2019, she collaborates with the Maison de la Photographie de Marrakech, where its important photographic collection is today preserved. This photograph features a snake charmer on Jemaa El-Fna square in Marrakech, emblematic of his curious and attentive gaze.
