Rosine Mazin (1942-2023), photographer trained at the École Vaugirard, worked at Studio Souissi in Rabat between 1969 and 1971, traveling Morocco with a singular sensitivity. Attentive to culture, to architecture and scenes of daily life, it has constituted over the years 1970 a set of images that bear witness to a country in full vitality. In 2019, she collaborates with the Maison de la Photographie de Marrakech, where its important photographic collection is today preserved. This photograph features a snake charmer on Jemaa El-Fna square in Marrakech, emblematic of his curious and attentive gaze.
