F. Soler is installed in Tunis from 1900. However some of these photographs, notably illustrated by l’Illustration, gives his workshop in Sétif from 1892. From 1902, the workshop publishes postcards. It seems to cease its activity in 1908.
His workshop is taken over by his nephews, the Pavia brothers. There are postcards indicating Désiré Pavia Photo-edited Tunis from 1904.
