Towards 1908 – 1910,
Professional photographers whose studio was based in Rabat. Philippe Schmitt began his career alone under the company name "P. Schmitt photo, Rabat ». His many photos were published in postcards under the title "Illustrated Morocco", or even "Artistic collection". In 1911-1912, he made a report on Fez. His pictures of military operations, are united under the title of "Posts and outposts of Morocco".
