Alberto Rainolter's background is the printing press: he learned typography from 1960 at 1964 and worked in the printing press until 1982.
Of 1984 at 1998 he has contributed to the restoration of many organs throughout Europe.
Alberto Rainolter is also a saxophonist “Tenor”, painter and sculptor.
In 1980 he made a first trip to Morocco. In Essaouira he photographed the graffiti on the large beach wall. In Marrakech he met the Gnaoua universe and he then devoted many trips to recording music, mainly on the Jemaa el Fna square in Marrakech. “Café Matich”, named after the famous meeting place of Jemaa el Fna square, becomes thanks to Alberto Rainolter a huge compilation and a real signature.
