Russian photographer, installed in the medina of Marrakech. He edits from 1911 at 1928, under the title "U.P.I. Light and Jougla » then after 1928, under “The Lumière Company”. He accompanied the painter Majorelle on hikes in the Atlas. In the early 60, he was the official photographer of the Lycée Victor Hugo.
