The House of Photography of Marrakech presents, within the Maison Denise Masson, the exhibition Marrakech in the time of Denise Masson, a photographic journey dedicated to Marrakech in the years 1950.
Through a selection of photographic archives from its collections, the exhibition recreates the atmosphere of the city at the time when Denise Masson resided in the medina. Lively souks, street scenes, portraits of residents, architectures and urban landscapes bear witness to a transformed daily life.
This exhibition places the figure of Denise Masson in the living context of her time, while inviting the visitor to take a sensitive look at the changes in Marrakech and the richness of its visual heritage.
