Amazigh culture has always aroused the interest of travelers. Explorers, writers, artistes, photographers, scientists, were impressed.
Morocco fascinates with its diversity : landscapes, populations, cultures. Morocco of thousand-year-old cities and countryside, Morocco deserts and mountains, mellahs and moussems, agadirs and zaouïas.
The archives of the Maison de la Photographie de Marrakech illustrate this diversity. Photographs and documentaries keep the landscapes close to us, the dances, architectures, the smiles of the people, the multiple works of educators, doctors, engineers, artists, that this passion has fed.
Looking at the magnificent portraits gathered here at the Amazigh Municipal Museum of Agadir, we are only opening the first page of immense passion.
