Avril 2017 – Palais Badii
The Maison de la Photographie and the Mouassine museum in partnership with the Delegation of the Ministry of Culture and Communication are organizing the exhibition "Le mellah de Marrakech" at the Badii palace.
This exhibition shows through 20th century photographs various aspects of the life of the mellah. We thank the Alliance Israélite Universelle de Paris and Paul Dahan for the participation of their archives. The work of Zédé Schulmann is still too unknown, Elias Harrus, E. Zurita, Walter Mitelholzer and Leo Wehrli. It is a mellah animated by its inhabitants that is shown.
