A very beautiful exhibition produced by the Albert-Kahn Museum, in 1999, under the title "Memory of the future", had chosen this title to define the richness of "the land of the Extreme Couchant", le Maghreb el-aqsâ, located at the crossroads of three worlds, the Arab-Muslim world, black Africa.
