Born in russia, he settled in Paris and was appointed in 1927 at the service of Fine Arts and Historical Monuments of Morocco where he remained all his life. The Maslow collection is referenced under Archi Webture. His most famous text, "The mosques of Fez and northern Morocco" was published in Paris in 1937 : photo plates by Maslow, introduction by Henri Terrasse, transcriptions of inscriptions by Lévy-Provençal.
