1989: Jean- Luc Manaud created with François Guenet, Yves gellie, the Odyssey agency.
1995 : from Meknes to Marrakech, Moulay Brahim and Tameslouth, Jean-Luc Manaud, Pierre Guicheney (writer filmmaker) and ethnologist Viviana Easter produced a report for GEO magazine on Gnawa and Aïssawa rituals and pilgrimages. Jean-Luc Manaud brought back special images from this immersion in the heart of the two brotherhoods.
2016 : The Maison de la Photographie in partnership with the Gamma Rapho agency, the daughters of Jean Luc Manaud, the French Institute of Essaouira organized a unique exhibition during the Essaouira festival (spring 2015) then at the Mouassine Museum (autumn 2016) in Morocco, paying homage to Jean-Luc Manaud.
