1889-1957
This photographer moved to Casablanca in 1901, therefore before the establishment of the protectorate. Casablanca, flagship city of modernity "à la française", provided Flandrin with a large clientele, including the army, for his photos, genre scenes, landscapes and monuments, postcards and various editions, including Editions Mars. If the artistic quality is uncertain, exoticism lovers, in search of millennial Morocco, were satisfied with the work of his workshop, very professional, high documentary quality, essential testimony to the evolution of Moroccan society. The Flandrin fund is mainly in Casablanca, kept by the Banque Populaire pour l'Education et la Culture.
