Journalist for L’Illustration in Paris, postcard editor in Algiers, then photographer attached to Sultan Moulay Hafid. He published photos of Morocco taken by amateur photographers, including Bertou. In Morocco, Editions Niddam and Assouline in Fez published his photographs. He was assassinated during the Fez massacres.
