Abdelay Mellakh est né en 1947 in the Mouassine district, in the old family house now transformed into the Mouassine Museum. It was in this house that he also had his first workshop, nourishes the striking influences of the neighborhood and its profusion of colors.

The Maison de la Photographie in Marrakech participated again this year in the readings of the Trasatlantica portfolios. The winner is Dounia Fikri.
