Fernand Bidon, known under the surname “Félix”, was born in Marseille in 1883, he resided in Marrakech for years 1912 upon his death in 1963.
Félix was one of the first resident photographers in Marrakech. He produced an important photographic work, which has the great merit of covering a long period of Marrakech.
We have selected period prints for this catalog, made very carefully, with great sensitivity, by the photographer. The photos all bear the studio stamp on the back.. This present catalog, published on the occasion of “May of Photography, 2024 » will complete the knowledge of Félix’s work, whose surname shows attachment to Félix Nadar.
