Evrard Jean Pierre

1936 –

Jean Pierre Evrard started out in photography in 1954 in Cambrai by following courses at the Fine Arts then a Graphic Arts training. He spent part of his career in the years 1970 at Kodak, leading training in mainland France and overseas departments and territories as well as in Africa where he became responsible for communication.

From 1980, Jean- Pierre Evrard produced a photographic work, reporting in many countries : Ivory Coast, Central African Republic, Benign, Portugal, etc. He favored the countries of Africa and more particularly Morocco where he visits regularly.
Jean-Pierre Évrard was a member of the Métis agency, member of the Salon d'Automne in Paris in 1985. He is vice-president of the association People of Images, responsible for facilitating workshops at the European House of Photography.
A strong relationship unites the Maison de la Photographie and Jean Pierre Evrard. The photographer has regularly donated prints to the Maison de la Photographie. In 2015 the Maison de la Photographie organized an exhibition under the title : ” Morocco by Jean Pierre Evrard, a donation ". (Catalogue.)
